SITE’S STORY

One night (I don’t remember now exactly when) around August 2002 I’ve decided together with my cousine to open a fansite. We both loved Destiny’s Child but we didn’t want to run a site about all the girls. Around 1PM we have finished doing first layout for a fansite dedicated to Kelly Rowland. It was dark - black&brown with amazing picture of Kelly with her deep brown eyes. Inspired by the picture (and DC song from Survivor) we decided to call the site Brown Eyez. Soon we’ve opened the website and it was available for the visitors. It was in polish lanuage. Anyway, it was visited by many people outside Poland, from all around the world. When my cousine Anette decided to abadon the project and I’ve opened english version of the site.
The site was growing and getting more popular. Soon it was one of the most visited fansites dedicated to Kelly Rowland.
I had less time for both language versions so I decited to close the polish section. The site was working then even better because I had more time for updates.
Somewhere around late 2003 my dear friend Marisol has joined me and together we were running Brown Eyez available at kellyrowland.tk. In 2004 I had less time for it because of the school so Marisol was running it sometimes by her own. When both of us didn’t have time - we decided to put it on hiatus. Both of us didn’t have time to open it again. Marisol even wanted to open it by her own but it didn’t work out.
I was dying to open Brown Eyez again - so I did. I’ve made it from the beginning and I decided to change the name of it to - Ultimate Kelly Rowland. It was soon hosted by wonderful Stevie from e-fan.org who bought us a domain kelly-rowland.com (nice, huh?). The site started to get many visitors really soon and now it’s getting around 1700 unique hits a day.
I am still planning to make the site bigger. And I’m not planning to put it on any hiatus for now
