Kelly Rowland is plotting an April 2009 release for her upcoming 3rd album on Music World Entertainment / Columbia Records. The yet to be titled follow-up to “Ms. Kelly” is said to feature productions from Nate “Danja” Hills, who’s also contributing on the next albums by Britney Spears, Brandy, Keri Hilson and Pink.

R&B superstar Kelly Rowland plans to give the design students on Project Runway an added reason to Work, following news the singer has signed up to be celebrity guest on the local series.

The former Destiny’s Child warbler jets into Sydney late tomorrow night, kicking off a whirlwind promotional tour of appearances and parties.

And no one will be clocking Rowland’s flashy diva-glam style more than the Project Runway contestants, who have been assigned the monumental task of having to design an outfit for the Grammy award-winning artist when she drops into the Foxtel set next week.

Rowland is apparently a huge fan of the US series, so was more than happy to lend her bootylicious bod to help amp up the content on the stitches and bitches program in Oz.

“It wont be your obvious red carpet garb - Kelly has something far more interesting in mind and will really put the designers’ talents to the test,” a Project Runway source said yesterday.

R&B star Kelly Rowland has been left pondering the existence of a Jennifer Hudson curse on her and her Destiny’s Child bandmates, after losing out to the Oscar winner for a role in Sex And The City: The Movie.

Hudson landed the role of Louise, the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw, after fighting off competition from singer/actress Rowland.
And the “Dilemma” hitmaker was stunned to hear she had lost out on the movie opportunity, because she was convinced she had it in the bag.

American R&B singer Kelly Rowland is trying her hand at something other than music – a children’s book.
The 27-year-old former Destiny’s Child singer revealed that she is looking into other ventures besides singing, and writing a children’s book is one of them.
“I’m getting into different ventures. I’m in the process of writing a children’s book,” People quoted her, as saying.
The book is still under works and has not been given a title as yet, as she has just started working on it.
“Everything is confidential right now, but I’m really excited because I’ve talked to some different publishing companies and got some people interested,” she said.
